Brum and the Mad Mower is the fifth episode of the first series of Brum.
Plot[]
As Brum starts feeling tired, he notices several people going to the park, including a boy with a football, whom he follows after his interest peaks. In the park, Brum sees a man laying under a tree for a nap, a group of people having a picnic, an old lady feeding ducks, and an office worker couple. He eventually catches up with the boy and joins in a game of football. It soon starts to get hot and a tired parkkeeper is too busy mowing the grass to stop for a drink. He goes to dump the mowed grass, accidentally spilling some on Brum, while the boy kicks his ball and mistakenly hits a lever on the parkkeeper's mower which sends it going on its own. Brum drives around the park alerting the parkgoers of the runaway mower as it nearly runs them over. The mower runs out of the park and through a construction site with Brum chasing it. He eventually catches up and turns it around. It returns towards the park, once again going through the construction site, and falls into a lake. The parkgoers laugh at this and thank Brum for stopping the mower, but at that moment, the water sprinkler turns on and makes everyone wet. Brum heads for home, on the way passing by the man under the tree, who was still sleeping and unaffected by the sprinkler. The museum owner finds pieces of the mowed grass in Brum's seat.
