Brum and the Naughty Kitten (titled Brum and the Lost Kitten in Australia) is the tenth episode of the second series of Brum.

Plot[]

Brum meets the Lollipop Lady at the crossing and sees some refuge collectors at work collecting bags of rubbish. He sees more bags of rubbish piled along the street as he drives to the hotel where he meets Mr. Doolally, who is a porter at the hotel. Mr. Doolally has found a family of four kittens and their mother hiding in a pile of rubbish at the back alley. Riding in Brum's seat, the kittens are brought inside to one of the hotel rooms to be fed milk, but they realize one is missing and split up to go searching for him. Brum finds him in the lift, but the doors close before Brum could get inside. He eventually switches floors and finds the kitten chasing a trolley into a bathroom. There, the kitten makes a mess and gets Brum tangled in toilet paper, then runs away again. Brum and Mr. Doolally reunite and follow the kitten to the kitchen, but lose him. They suddenly hear meowing from inside a serving dome a waiter is bringing out to the La Di Dah's. Mrs. La Di Dah freak out when she sees the kitten, who starts running around the dining room and causes havoc, then escapes again. The restaurant manager blames Brum and Mr. Doolally for the mess and kicks them out. They head to the street where the refuge collectors are still working. Brum sees the kitten in one the rubbish piles and desperately tries to stop the oblivious collectors, who see the kitten just in time and hand him to Brum. He returns the kitten to the others, then heads home to the museum where the museum owner finds a dessert from the hotel dining room and takes it home for his tea.
